We are dedicated to the development and growth of capoeira in the tradition of our mestre, Mestre Jelon Vieira. Instrutor Feijao offers instruction in the progressive art of contemporary regional. Contemporary regional is a modern form of capoeira regional which was developed with the intent to keep capoeira evolving. We invite you to take part in this exciting movement. Instrutor Feijao hails from San Antonio, TX, where he trained with Professor Esquilo under the direction of Mestre Jelon. Mestre Jelon, recognized as the first to bring capoeira to the United States, founded the San Antonio group in 1993 through the Carver Cultural Center. Since then, we have branched out to such cities as Houston, Denver, Fresno, Miami, and many others.

We are happy to now include the great city of Austin among these. Since December of 2005, Instrutor Feijao, who brings with him over 9 years of experience, has been dedicated to sharing his knowledge of this art to all who wish to learn.
